Education Testimonials

I attended the classes offered by The Concilio to prepare myself on how to help my daughter with her homework and also to explain to her the good and bad so that they can have a successful future. Before the program I would never read to her nor would I study with her, not because I didn’t want to but because I didn’t understand the importance of reading. Since I began the classes I have begun reading and studying with my daughter on a daily basis.

I am going to share with you something personal: One day I came home very tired and I did not read with my daughter, she came to me and asked, “Are we not going to read today?” That moment I realized that routine of reading to her daily had transformed into a habit for her and I felt proud that I had contributed to that. Now reading and studying has become a daily habit of ours.

I am very grateful for the program The Concilio has offered; it has helped me get involved and committed to my daughter’s education and making me realize the importance of literature. I know that this way I am building a better future for her.

\\Conciliodc\g-drive\Pictures\Feb 2010 College Day\Feb 2010 College Day 055.jpgI am very excited to have attended the Dallas Concilio’s program.  I remember that when I came to the program I was a little insecure and had a lazy attitude.  Being involved in the PASE Program, I have learned so many things that I did not know. Before, I did not have the right information and I did not know much about the school system, but now I am almost an expert! I have become more involved with my children’s homework and projects. I am a completely different woman.  I would like to thank the Dallas Concilio and Williams High School for having this program that gave us so much educational information.
